Flowtech Water Solutions Design Rainwater Harvesting Equipment & Cold Water Booster System For Fleetwood Town Football Club
In partnership with a leading HVAC consultant and North West mechanical contractor, Flowtech Water Solutions designed and specified the rainwater harvesting system for the new Parkside Stand at Fleetwood Town Football Club. In addition, the cold water booster system was also specified at the same time.
A Flowrain 2300 system and 27000 litre underground tank was supplied to capture rainwater from the Parkside Stand and then to supply water to the WC’s within the stand. A Flowrain 1750 unit and another 27000 litre underground tank was also supplied to transfer water to the existing pitch watering system.
The flagship Parkside Stand was open to the public on Saturday 16th April 2011 at a cost of £4.5m
The state of the art stadium seats 2000 spectators bringing the overall capacity up to 5500 and features a large hospitality suite and 7 executive boxes.
Since installed, the system has been in regular use and has saved thousands of pounds in the cost of water supply to the stadium
