This not for profit trade association was established in 1941 and later incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in 2009. The British Pump Manufacturers’ Association represents the interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pumping equipment.
Members of the BPMA account for approximately 85% of the £1 billion plus UK market for pumps and in addition the UK pump industry is a net exporter.
BPMA mission: To influence the pump sector business environment in the interests of members’ competitiveness and sustainability and to increase sector awareness by providing technical support and pump technology training to members, operators and purchasers of pumping equipment.
