Flowdos CS Chemical Dosing Pots
The Flowdos CS Chemical Dosing Pots are designed to introduce liquid chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors into closed systems. Flowdos dosing pots are supplied as a complete packaged with top mounted manual air vent, valves and tundish fitted to minimise the time on site for installation. These units are cost effective and easy to install. Each dosing pot is fitted with an integral safety valve which prevents liquid escaping when the unit is under pressure if the top entry valve is opened before the flow and return valves are shut.
The specific size of the dosing pot is not critical as the dosing pot can be filled multiple times to obtain the correct concentration. The benefit of using a smaller unit, is that it is physically easier to handle and allows for a more accurate dosing. However since chilled systems generally require a higher concentration of chemical dosing, usually glycol, to be dosed into the system a larger dosing pot may be required.
