Flowtech provide pressurisation and expansion systems to numerous council buildings.
Since 2010, Flowtech Water Solutions have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with our local council and have been entrusted to provide Flowpress pressurisation units and expansion vessels to a wide variety of municipal buildings.
Due to the on-going relationship, Flowtech are involved in the design and eventual supply of the equipment. The buildings are of differing ages, shapes and sizes and the selection of the equipment can differ from project to project. Criteria such as available space, final system pressure and maintenance access are all assessed at design stage.
With older systems especially with steel pipework, consideration must be made to any possible increase in system pressure. The expansion is calculated and then the equipment is sized to minimise the final pressure within the system. Flowtech work hand in hand with the design engineers to minimise the possibility of leaks or bursts within the system.
The design is completed and project is put out to tender with North West mechanical contractors. Once awarded Flowtech work closely with the contractor to ensure the equipment is supplied and commissioned before the handover of the building.
Flowtech Water Solutions have now provided equipment to over 75 projects with the total satisfaction of the client and mechanical installer paramount in their strategy. All equipment provided is covered by extended warranties and is covered by Flowtech’s 24hr/365 day a year service response.
In addition to the pressurisation and expansion equipment, Flowtech Water Solution have provided DAB Circulation pumps, buffer vessels, air & dirt separators & dosing pots.
