What are the different types of sectional water tanks?

Sectional tanks are typically available in three different types which include, internally flanged base tanks (IFB), externally flanged base Tanks (EFB), and totally internally flanged tanks (TIF).

(IFB) tanks are designed for positioning onto a flat, solid, level surface and continuous foundation, with all flanges and fasteners located within the inside of the tank. Comprising of an internally flanged base, externally flanged sides, and internally flanged roof.

(EFB) tanks are designed to be installed onto raised supports, typically to provide a positive head of pressure to an adjacent pump set or similar equipment. Comprising of an externally flanged base, externally flanged sides, and internally flanged roof.

(TIF) tanks are for positioning onto a flat, level and continuous foundation. Comprising of an internally flanged base, internally flanged sides, and internally flanged roof.
